Vixen
Had a conversation about having bank accounts one friend said no wont have a joint with partner, they both have their own. Another said they had just one joint account. I said I used to have a joint account that money went in from my partners and mine account and we also had our own as well. Wonder what others did on here.so will do a poll.

chizh
Me and Mrs Chiz have one each plus the joint. Not that having any personal account matters. All the QVC and Ideal World purchases she makes are from the joint and the deliveries in my name.
Neoburner
Joint for bills and mine is mine!
daz2905
We both have our own bank accounts, there's no way i'd trust the other half with my money. I pay half the mortgage to her bank account and it gets paid from there and i pay the bills. She now earns more than i do so perhaps i need to reconsider and then i can buy more junk and gadgets and she can buy more clothes and shoes and we'll see who spends it faster. Johnner
Always had seperate accounts....if we ever needed to dip into each others accounts for anything...no big deal...It's only money...
hoponbaby
Seperate accounts, I pay for everything tbh as had the house before we got together. She buys shopping, stuff for kids, presents etc etc
bob6600
Joint. Would not bother me having separate, we had that initially and were not problems. If you can't trust your partner with your account and vice versa how can you live with them?
dopeydog
We each have our own account and a joint account that runs the house/bills/food/car etc etc

corskey
We have always had a joint - could never be bothered to move money between accounts and anyway it gives me an excuse to moan about how much she spends.
