suke
Went to Quacks tonight. Appointment was booked over two weeks ago and this was earliest date. Time was 16.50. Actually got to see him at 17.30. WTF How long do you have to wait in your area.

You can ring from 7 in the morning and get same day appointment its automated you choose male or female doctor or you can ask for a doctor by name. Utterchaos
Just turn up, pick the next number off the hook for the dr you want to see, sit and a wait for your number to be called, handy sometimes as you can see any Dr so you just take the lowest number lol
daz2905
Not been for about 8 years and that was the only time in the last 15 years. I heard it's quite bad though and can over a week to get an appointment. I hope i never get ill apparently they are not good at keeping the appointment times either. The only way you will get an emergency appointment is to threaten the receptionist over the phone!! Shocking really, the amount we pay in tax and NI!! suke
Looks like some areas are better than others or maybe its the doctors where i am. Must admit this is the first time in ages i have had to go. Don't think i will bother anymore unless i'm on death's door. LOL
Eireann
If you go to the doctor and only have to wait 40 mins I call that a result. Unfortunately even when you do have an appointment some patients are maybe seriously ill and this can cause an overrun on their appointment. At my doctors it usually a minimum of 4 weeks before you even get an appointment
