Snuffs99
As ktv says it'll all be brushed under the rug and business as usual. Thing that annoys me more than anything is the greed, 100's of millions soem have ffs and still use tax havens etc, just no need for any one person to have that much money other than greed. hoponbaby
Storm in a teacup imo. So he owned some shares in an offshore trust then paid UK tax on the dividends he received & didn't make enough of a gain to pay CGT on the disposal. Majority of people who have a pension fund are probably invested to some extent in offshore funds. It's not tax avoidance by means of an artificial scheme generating taxable losses etc.

Majority of people who have a pension fund are probably invested to some extent in offshore funds. Way more than just a storm in a tea cup if you read more into the panama files mate, was effectively a huge international money laundering scheme and certainly way more than just conman cam and his £30K. Also the majority of people are not running the country are they and meant to be cracking down on tax avoidance etc etc like conman cam does then boasts about how much he has done to cut tax avoidance in the UK etc etc. Pm says he had £30K, OK but he also said a few days before that he had NONE. The man is a liar like every other politician and you can bet the money his father made for the Conman Cam family wasn't all legit however hasn't been mentioned and wont be as he has deflected to the £30K shares he "had" and many will simply call it a storm in a tea cup. Like i say it'll be brushed under the carpet. our politicians have a way for repelling shit, NASA may have invented teflon but the rich and those like David cameron perfected it. Sh4ckles
If it's illegal what he did or he lied then he should be kicked out of number 10, if however it's not illegal and he had never lied about it then let's move onto the next scandal. Its not illegal to be a greedy fuckwit so leave them all to it as you say, can't do anything all about it anyways.
hoponbaby
Don't mean the entire panama thing snuffs, just Cameron's involvement in it. Yes by originally saying he has no offshore it was technically correct (as it's been sold) but should have known it wouldn't be allowed to be dropped so easily which has made him look stupid for backtracking. noiseboy
First protest today. I wonder if the mainstream news cover it.
ktv303
i wouldnt hold your breath waiting on any coverage of it nb camerons claim he didnt benefit if horse shit if you ask me, he must have inherited some of the tax free money his dad had squirrelled away and the fact the media aint calling for his head shows just how much the are nothing more than the establishments mouthpiece. his father was a uk citizen owning a company in the uk making millions in profit but never paid a penny in tax for 30 years so the media really should be all over camerons "he never did it to avoid tax " bollox
Diddy
It's the hypocracy that makes it a big deal for Cameron. He called out Jimmy Carr on his aggressive tax avoidance. He has overseen huge changes in self employment rules pushing thousands into paying more tax, I have no issue with both of those things, But I do have an issue if the man at the top of the tree is engaging or has engaged in activities regarding his own tax affairs while encouraging others to jump on others who do similar stuff. two faced liar comes to mind, He could easily have issued his 5th statement which seems closer to the truth on day one. He should have took a look at his best pal no Osbourne whi has benefited from similar schemes but was at least upfront enough to declare them in his members interests ect ect. No one is saying that anything "illegal" has taken place but the leak has brought to the fore the scale of these things and a debate will now happen before we are all told to forget all about it lol. Sh4ckles
It's a nice cover story to hide the fact the government has spent £9million of tax payers money on leaflets to convince us why we should stay in the EU as that's what the government wants. They really do take the piss when spending the money.
