Snuffs99
I know there will be those on here who have some magical ideas of what being in the Eu actually means and will be happy with this but for me we are simply giving Eu fat cats power over things they really have no clue about or bussiness getting involved in, and wasting money to be part of some stupid "club"...there is not one reason IMHO why we should stay in the Eu.......all that said what gives some cunt the right to take the government to court over it and win?,,, oh yeah i forgot its "democracy" and they think they are better than the 17 million who voted to leave the Eu. Pathetic that this can happen....its pathetic all the dummy spitting, (this post inc) but at least i have every right......THE UK VOTED TO LEAVE THE EU SO GET ON WITH IT FFS. If Scotland want to fuck off then so be it, fuck off and if these elite want to stay in the EU then fuck off to Scotland when it leaves the UK or find another Eu member country. Democracy at its best...have a vote and all those who lose said vote can get their way anyways by shouting loud enough.....cunts the lot of you who think your above the rest of us who voted out. Oh and before anyone gives it the its democratic to allow them to appeal bollox is a dictatorship till you get your own way then its democracy again....cunts is all i can say. Makes my blood boil. daz2905
WTF? In that case call a general election. Lets see how many of these MP's want to put there jobs on the line. If politicians are involved then nothing will ever happen.
ktv303
Lol it's not been blocked, it's just been made clear that the law of the land states it needs an act of parliament before wee leave. Everybody and anybody (including me) seen this coming the day after the vote. It's the reason Cameron and co made the referendum "advisory" and not statutory ffs. Do people actually think they have a say in these matters? You legally elect politicians to make decisions for you, you don't make them yourself. No matter how much "advice" they ask you for it's still up to them and them only. It's the law and the law is very clear on it. That's your democracy. sent from my phone
Snuffs99
Pathetic is what it is, no point in arguing over it as long as there are cunts out there in charge who want to remain...like most of parliament for instance. Democracy is a joke word thats used in these cases when things don't go their way...like, a vote to leave the EU for instance becomes "advisory" by those who don't like the result of the vote...so it becomes "advisory". I legally elected a government and i along with 17 millnio other people asked/told said government i want out the EU so they should do as they are told and get us the fook out......if a vote on who i want to run the country doesn't go my way i should just simply say it was "advisory" and take it to court if i don't like the result of said vote??. Your telling me that should Scotland ever vote to leave the UK and its "blocked" by the minority who wanted to remain that you'd have the same its "advisory" attitude?? would you fuck mate, you'd be up in arms but as your in the remain camp its an "advisory" vote in this instance. Democracy my arse, the people have spoken and the government should get on with what the people have asked for without any need for a debate on it, the debating came before the vote and what not, just because the vote wasn't what te elite wantd its advisory and what not....bollox. FWIW i woke up in a arse of a mood today so try to ignore most of my ranting. lol
ktv303
No mate I'm telling you your government said from the very outset the referendum was advisory. It's not an attitude or an opinion it's a simple fact....the vote wasn't legally binding. I believe they did that deliberately so cause this shambles if it didn't go there way they wanted. Why do you think they all retired right after it? They knew it was a cluster Fuck from day one. I said all this would happen right after the vote took place on the other site but I was just being an idiot who didn't have a clue and was simply a bad loser lol. Oh and ps can yous down south hear that ripping sound? That's Scotland collectively splitting their sides laughing. sent from my phone

And tbf its only 2/3 of Scotland laughing as the other 3rd wanted out..... Suppose we all have to laugh at it as its such a fucking joke world we live in. Diddy
So is that 1-1 ? Best 3 ? 3rd and final match to take place in parliament with the MP's who you elect. All joking aside (and tbh my initial reaction was to rip the piss for a while lol) - I think what the high court did today was just expose the fact that Cameron et all played the electorate with a double headed coin. As far as I can dechiper Going back to when the uk's unwritten constitution changed from monarchy rule to parliament rule - things in the UK have followed a fairly straight bat - parliament legislates and creates statutes - these statutes are then law, You can't simply reverse a law (don't ask me why you just can't lol) - you must created another statute that kills off the 1st one. I know that all makes total sense so far right ? lol So the case here is the statute that took us into the eu or eec or whatever it was now needs a counter statute to enable the magic article 50 to be enacted. To create a statute parliament need to vote on it. Now what happens next will be interesting - 1. Because I think these judges are correct in a pure black and white sense taking referendums and emotions out of play. 2. Because if the appeal court agree it is over to the mp's to do their "duty". Now many people believe that their MP should serve them and represent them to the best of their ability.....and all that public spirited guff. Trouble is those same Mp's because of the party system don't "really" have a choice in most decisions...well they follow orders from above or they will be deselected pretty sharpish. So now we are asking them to do what WE expect them to do. This should be easy May could/should tripple whip it and order it through the house no iff's no but's....but feck me she only has a majority of a dozen and the whole party is split...abit like the country - i am pretty sure there are mp's that would rather cut their own hands off rather than see article 50 triggered. Labour are in the same position. I think corbyn is a brexiter anyway but I know most of the ones trying to kill him off are most deffo pro eu.....Would they alling with the tory rebels and defeat any proposed bill ? Bet your life they would. So what then ? A nice good old constitutional crisis - It's all so easy to say call a Gen election but who are you going to vote for that will take a majority of seats in the HOC that will be able to enact this article 50 ? Starting or bankrolling political parties is a very expensive business. UKIP are not ready for power and I don't think any of the rest could take there MP's in the trigger A 50 direction. This could be decades or more to sort out lol.
Snuffs99
I dont't think it going to parliament was what annoyed me and more those who brought the court action in the first place, basically sticking two fingers up at the people in the process and claiming democracy in their win....i don't see anything democratic about the way the remain side has continued to fight after they lost and i don't see what parliament has to discuss. As you say Diddy this will go on for decades now due to blocks by MP's left right and centre if it does end up in parliament for debate ........and it'll be thanks to those smarmy gits who think us brexiters should now some how be thanking them etc...the arrogance is sickening tbh. @ Scorpion Believe it mate, going to smoke now and then i'll shoot people online for a bit under the pretense i'm killing those who took this to court and all will be good with the world. lmfao. So should have listened when they said politics and religion are the root to all evil...although they should also add money, greed and arrogance to that. ktv303
You better sit down before you read thee next bit mate....... daz2905
I'm sick of all the talk already. When does the revolution start? If the 48% can have protests in London when do we get the chance to rip the place apart? Joking aside, this will end badly.

goldringers
The referendum was no more than an , (in law) an "advisory" vote. Basically we voted out, it then goes back to the MP's and those bunch of w*nkers house of lords who can then look at it in 2 ways, 1) We asked the people to vote in / out the EU , the majority voted out so ewe better leave the EU as advised by the people of the UK. or 2) Na, ignore them bunch of low lifes they know jack shit and we have the power to do as we please so lets stay in the EU that referendum means nothing in law. Me thinks after the brexit vote and now Trump in power shock votes it shows that option 1 would probably be the worse thing they could do. In a democratic state when people are asked what do you think this should be law not an Advisory. Farage knew this , the PM knew this but the people again were led up the garden path. goldringers
And, If it goes to a vote via the MP's they should all be asked which way they voted. My town voted out and I know the MP wanted in. I'm in no doubt if it goes to the MP vote she will vote remain. Her one vote to remain in the EU then overturns 104,000 people who voted leave. She might find herself out on her arse come the next election. It's a simple equation, the people of my constituency voted ...... I will do the same democracy ? is it fook We need our own Donald Trump to fook them all up
