Diddy Posted March 14, 2016 Share Posted March 14, 2016 Just a mini rant from me. Situation im at my house in kent that we stay at for 6 months per year at least. So I know most of the neighbours. Now in the street itself we all have problems parking in front or even near our own house, If you go out to work or just leave the house any time between 8am-6pm you will loose your space and may need to parka street away. Anyway I went out today to do a supermarket shop, lots of bags ect ect, hoping that I may get a space near the house when I get back. I arrived back to see one of the nighbours who I don't really know parking right outside mines which is no big deal (im not one of the people who think they own the road outside the house), What i did see was that she had left 5 feet of a gap to the car in front, I rolled down the window and asked politely and nicely could you please move forward about 2 foot then I can squeeze in behind you, I thought this would be no big deal lol. She just looked at me with a scowl and said flatly Nah I don't think so mate and started to get stuff out her car, I just thought wow what a cnut lol, Anyway as I was about to drive away she turned back round and said I live here mate !!, I just replied well I live right here too but no big deal im not fussed, she then retorted maybe you wanna go down to those parked outside mine and tell them to feckin move, I just smiled and laughed at the mad bitch and got ready to move off again .....She then said I will reverse back a few feet and let you park in the middle as im fed up of being jammed in when I park somewhere......I mean ffs. Rant over, Moral of the story - Get to the point you stupid bint you could have saved me knowing your a cnut by stating at the beginning I will move back if you like....My other house in Scotland this situation would just never ever happen as we are all good neighbours only too happy to help each other out as and when we can, I suppose the old saying "there's nowt as queer as folk" applies here. Where i live there is plenty of parking but still people seem to have issues with where other people park. Barely a month goes by without some kind of parking war between the neighbours. You rang ?, it's very easy , , threaten everyone in the street. If they park they get key'd ,,,the 10 bob millionaires soon get the message. The problem is Daz , some ppl take the fookin piss and fully know what their doing is winding other folk up. It doesn't happen to you in your street becuase your lucky with plenty of parking but if you came home every other night to find a car over and blocking your driveway and worse in a cul-de-sac so it's not a case of "I'll park over there tonight" cause there is no over there in a tight dead end street. Then , you have to go knocking door to door round the fookin neighbors asking who's car it is and can they move it please so you can get access to your driveway, yeah the fookin one I paid for and is listed so in my deeds. One night I came home in the car, I ended up fookin piss wet through trying to find who's car was fully over our drive and when I did the guy said I'll do it later I'm having my tea with a grin. I kinda let him know what condition his car would be in the next few mins if he left it there....he moved it within 2 minutes. When I go visiting friends I always say , "Is my car ok there ?" is called good old fashion fookin courtesy you know the simple "Excuse me" and "Sorry" that shit that were slowly losing as a nation. it has ball all to do with not owning the road. My long standing problem was to do with ppl parking 1/2 and fully over my driveway, I suppose you don't mind that Daz, give us your postcode I'll drop my shitpit off for a few days over your drive:):) it would make that chilled drink in your hand boil within minutes rant over Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
