VM wifi hotspot

Just found out that my VM superhub3 is defaulted to be used as a wifi hotspot ??? Wtf.

They sent me an email saying to download the app login to access all the VM wifi networks. If I do not want my hub to be part of the network to log into my account profile and opt out.

I wouldn't of known if not for the email.

Check you profiles VM users. I've turned mine off, lets see if my speed drops. I pay for 70 get 90 Mbps.

Yeah they gone like BT, in order to use BT Wifi you are opted in (by default) and then your home router is turned into a hotspot where up to 2Mbit of your connection is reserved for those who want to connect to your hotspot. Like with BT you have to opt out but they dont fooking tell you all this, you have to find out yourself. Don't knwo if Virmin is the same as BT though where if you opt out you yourself can no longer use the Wifi hotspots.
