Buying Hardware

I've been building PC's as long as i can remember and have tried over the years to get quality parts for as little as possible.

Years ago (talking 15-20 years) i used to go to bowlers in Manchester as the computer fair was pretty decent, you could have a good gander and at the time it was free...then they made it £4 entry just to get in ffs, which in the grande scheme of things wasn't too bad if you were buying 100's of pounds worth of stuff but when your only wanting the odd part £4 was a piss take.....needless to say never went again.

I moved on from bowlers to a little known computer place called Aria, at the time it was a fairly new company running from some shitty 1st floor warehouse in Longsight and over the years they grew and grew and now have their own £2million purpose build warehouse and retail shop...and i've pretty much used them ever since.

Now other than Aria and Scan (in Bolton) does anyone know of any place around the Manchester area that sells computer parts like Aria etc? i know i can buy online from the likes of Ebuyer and have done many a time but i like i have a gander around places and see whats on display, at times i see something i'd never have thought of buying. I have a zboard fang for instance that i bought on a whim after seeing it on display in arias shop...its basically a 1 handed keyboard for gaming and i've had it years, in fact its the oldest bit of hardware i have.

I think i miss the days of being able to try things out, hold them and feel the build quality etc. I've got a feeling i already know of most places around my area but if anyone knows of any decent fairs or anything like that i'd like to know about them.

I use http://www.aria.co.uk

Where do you get your parts?
