josweet
FFS, with mint being my main o/s & updates being a plenty, im surprised that this hasnt been addressed sooner. Updating the kernal would be a choice, but its not classed as stable..
Snuffs99
Downside to Linux...They have known about this "bug" for a good few years and have never bothered to patch it, till now. So next time someone is bitching about how much safer to use Linux is over Windows just point out that at least Microshaft bother to patch bugs when they know about them rather than waiting years and years. Took Apple years to remove their "virus free" tag from their OSX and Redhat have only recently removed their own "virus free" tags from their downloads etc....Don't get me wrong i use Linux myself along side Windows but please remember when it comes to security that ANY OS thats connected to a network is vulnerable, end of.
