goldringers
My LG washer / dryer has stopped drying, I'm no spark so I did a bit of googling and metered a few parts and they all came back ok. The element read 35 Ohm and they guy said on the vid 25 -120 should be ok. Thing is , I changed this about 12 months back when I had the same problem so I'm thinking it cant be this. The only thing I noticed was a ticking say every 8-10 seconds from the pressure switch at the front when it's on dry cycle. Any idea's as to the fault?. With a bit of advice I'm not to bad checking and swapping out. Its more of a case of been told how and what to check
Scorpion
Temperature sensor? Are the wires that go to the tumble drier heating element showing any signs of over heating?
goldringers
No Scorps, no signs of over heating. I'm might order a new temp sensor, the one that sits in the dryer housing and replace the pressure switch about £25 for the pair.
goldringers
Parts came today and it seems like the pressure switch was the culprit. I swapped out the heater sensor as well so hopefully I'll get a few more years out of it
