2tone
Have a couple of cordless drills for work, best one I have is a Panasonic 36v cordless but that's for bigger jobs my other cordless is a dewalt 18v 2.0ah I would recommend it to anyone great drill. I've tend to stay away from bosh drills as I had a couple break on me before.
daz2905
I was looking at drills last week, was waiting to see if there would be a bank holiday price drop. I want this one. http://www.screwfix.com/p/dewalt-dcd776m1t-gb-18v-4-0ah-li-ion-xr-cordless-combi-drill/1544f which i want for home. It's my my other halfs birthday on Monday and i'm seriously tempted to buy it as a fake present just to see the look on her face when she unwraps it. Only one battery but the reviews are great and 4,0 ah battery gives plenty of power and i thought i'd just buy another off ebay if i needed one but for home use the reviews suggest i'm unlikely to need it. I'd considered a milwaukee and i think i'll get one as well for work and share batteries with this bad boy http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Milwaukee-M18CHIWF12-502X-18v-FUEL-1-2-Impact-Wrench-2x-5Ah-Batteries-/252444274052?epid=680225116&hash=item3ac6d9ed84:g:Is0AAOSwNYRZn-iM

goldringers
That's what I did, I hung on to see if any major DIY retailers threw up bank holiday deals but I didn't spot any. I'm still torn between splashing out on a twin pack or save myself some money just buy a drill. I've got a £30 voucher Sat in my Amazon account and I spotted this one on there:- https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bosch-Cordless-Combi-Lithium-Ion-Battery/dp/B00L3XK06C&ved=0ahUKEwjX5pqg8fvVAhWJCcAKHWR0BroQFgg3MAA&usg=AFQjCNH1j1-rm5btw-l7Q3nojsW1osHpPg Now I know it's not the best out there but it's for basic home DIY but I do fancy the thought of having an impact driver as well. With my voucher chucked in it's £40. Anyone spot any twin packs on Amazon ?
goldringers
Well I ended up getting this;- https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bosch-Cordless-Combi-Lithium-Ion-Battery/dp/B00L3XK06C I used my voucher for £30 so the drill cost me £40. I then went on the eBay and bought the impact driver that originally comes in the twin pack but this is the bare bones version for £49.95 from eBay brand new. if I bought the ful version were talking £100. The battery from the drill fits the impact driver and with it having 2 batteries it means one battery for each. I'm not on site so for my needs walls and fencing around the house I think both are ample. I would have liked to have bought better but coin and the voucher in my Amazon were the deciding factor. This is the twin pack that has the impact driver. I think I've saved about £60 https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bosch-Cordless-Impact-Lithium-Ion-Battery/dp/B01N4RX8SH/ref=sr_1_1?s=diy&ie=UTF8&qid=1504098298&sr=1-1&keywords=Bosch+PSB+1800+LI-2+Cordless+twin+pack

goldringers
@2tone , I know I should but it's all about coin and how much and what I'm using it for. Do the green Bosch batteries work in the blue ?
2tone
Not sure to tell you the truth as everything I use is dewalt and Panasonic, but knowing most of these manufactures there might be something different about the battery contact lay out could be wrong but.
