HackmanSlim
a little diverse, coz many people choose tea,but i would like to know what coffee you drink and why and where i might be able to get some from heheh anyway i am currently in love with maxwell house rich blend, theres a little story behind it, as you know i have been in and out of hospital, and many times i have been offered a tea or a coffee, so on the 1st occasion i chose coffee, after one sip i was totally hooked on the taste and the aroma,so i endavoured to find out what coffee the hospital used, so i snuck into the canteen and had a sniff round the cupboards and found a big tub of maxwell house, result, so when i got home i ordered myself a nice big tub of the stuff, which i am still currently using it was about 16 pounds maxwell house rich blend so people, whats your favourite coffee and why ? Hippie
Dowe Egberts smooth if my favourite instant and the jars look cool and are ideal for storing things from one of my hobbies in too
Clint
I'm the Tea drinker in the house, the Missus Clint is partial to a coffee, which I tend to make. She likes the Nescafe Azeera for everyday instant, or I got an Gaggia Classic Machine that I bought her one year, but unfortunately again I'm the only bugger that can use it properly. (yes, that old ploy) So I end up making the coffee for her. Clint
HackmanSlim
@hippie yes i must admit those jars are pretty funky i find them useful for putting pickled onions in hehe, as for the coffee itself, i use to love it, i found it very sophisticated and pleasing to the pallette, but somewhere along the line i fancied a change and maxwell house seems to be pleasing me quite well but who knows i might return to the realms of douewe egberts one day @Clint, yea mate cant go wrong with a brew, i usually end up getting the cheap and nasty tea bags like red label, but soon regret it lol, you cant beat a good yorkshire tea tea bag, or the ever famous pg tips i usually have a cup of tea when i od on coffee lol, i find it very nice and a welcome change, so it's all down to balance really thanks for your replies fellas, keep em rolling in Slim
chizh
Coffee creams. Preferably in dark chocolate. TBH don't drink tea or coffee @home and have it only when I'm out shopping with the wife. I'll probably have a iced blend or frappucinno type thing rather than a hot one.
HackmanSlim
wow you sure do drink some fancy stuff czih m8 a frappucino does sound tempting, but man coffee cremes would be lush, will add some to my shopping list on my next online shop yum Slim
jakdos
Not that into coffee - only 1 a day but Dowe Egberts. Mainly on tea and tends to be Twinings English Breakfast or Assam.
HackmanSlim
one douewe egberts a day is good, a nice healthy option which should be good for a non palpatating heart, watch your tea intake though, they say theres more caffiene in tea then there is coffee ty for sharing your tea/coffee habits Slim
jakdos
Twinings do some good caffiene free stuff. Our kid drinks it all the time, but then mixes peppermint shit into the mix - now that I can seriously do without !!!!
daz2905
My gaggia coffee machine has sat redundant for the best part of a year but descaled it at the weekend and started using it again. I realised how much i miss the taste of proper ground coffee cappuccino's and have been drinking that for the last few days. The big problem i find is that ground coffee come's in big sizes and is normally only fresh for a few weeks at most once you've opened it and even a small pack makes an unhealthy amount of coffee. For instant i buy a brand of Arabica coffee from Lidl, not sure what it's called but costs about 2.50 a jar and is the best instant coffee i've tasted. Absolute swill [emoji23] I'm happy to spend a couple of minutes grinding (I use a Hario) and then another couple of minutes with my Aeropress for a decent mug.
