got an email last week confirming an appointment with the dentist.

i opened the email using my phone.

the day before my appointment my phones calander/reminder service/alarm thingy tells me i have the dentist tomorrow. i then get another reminder an hour before my appointment.

my phone did this all by itself without me doing a thing. it was kind of handy but a bit wierd to say the least....its reading my mails

also have you ever noticed that when your talking about something then go to google it your phone guesses what your looking for within a few letters?

my mates where talking about adam and the ants the other night and i went to google what year etc and as soon as i typed ada the google suggestions where "adam and the ants hit songs" .... ive noticed that a few times which is also very wierd...its listening to my conversations

and now to top it all off we have amazon echo that will sit on your table listening to every thing around you and is just a hares breath away from "computer" on star trek

i find these things quite handy and not being a terrorist or drug dealer ive nothing really to hide but it is a bit unnerving to think everything you do and or say is being listened to but some software.

whats your thoughts?

I've been getting these reminders for a long time in google now. If i book a holiday it tells when i'm going, flight time, aiport , flight number. In android i think you can disable it but i leave it because it's handy. Also tells me when deliveries are due to arrive for ebay and so on. It tracks your emails and also searches. Not just from your phone but pc if you are logged into a gmail account when searching. I quite like it because it fills google now with football results and web pages of interest.

If i was into weird porn or anything embarrassing i'd turn it off, but for now i don't mind software or anyone else monitoring my boring life.

Iv heard others say that the phone listens to them, but have never believed it.

They certainly read your emails though!
