Looking to buy a lazy boy recliner type chair..

As the kids are getting older, iv got my sights set on one room in the house thats going to be mine, and mine alone!

Its going to have a flat screen tv, all my gadgets, and a big arse comfy chair.

Now I do like gadgets, but I think a fridge in the chair may be going a little too far.

So apart from the fridge, what's a great gadget chair, (has to be ultra comfy and recline etc)

Many thanks,

Fon

I've already got my man cave. 102" projector, 7:1 surround sound, various media boxes and a couple of leather recliners i picked for £100 on ebay. Best money i ever spent.

This old chair might be going cheap. Space there for a few gadgets, even a nice little cut out in the arm for a tablet and nice pull drawers.  ;)

I ended up buying one of these,

http://www.ebay.co.uk/p/foxhunter-bonded-leather-massage-recliner-chair-cinema-sofa-armchair-swivel-heat/1739546864?_trksid=p2047675.l2644

Its good!

The lazy boy chairs are over a grand, but this was under £200

Its a good chair, the heat and vibrations are nice. Its built well, and is comfortable.

Only downsides are it wouldn't suit an old person. (you need lots of movement to get the right spot). And its very difficult to move across the floor, as it rocks, and it rocks as you try to slide it out.

Also the cup holders are large, so although the drink wont full over, it can slide inside the cup holder.

Pretty similar to the ones i bought only mine are real leather but no massage or cup holder. Damn comfortable though and great for reclining and watching movies. .Had to take them apart to get them up to the third floor of house., they weigh a ton and too big to carry up 2 flights of stairs.

Those ones Fon linked to aren't so heavy.

How heavy are yours Daz?

I couldn't lift mine on my own and it was a struggle with 2 people. Mainly because you lift from the base because of the weight and the damn thing rocks. The one i bought cost £1200 each when new, the only thing that spoils them is that they are a blue colour, i doin't mind so much cause they were cheap and like Fon says. It's my room and not for anyone else and for me i'm more concerned with function and comfort than getting the exact colour i want.

I would recommend the style though, very comfortable.
