So Borris bottled it!

May has been a terrible home secretary and was pro Europe. Strange how people are only too willing to sell their beliefs down the line to further their career.

In spite of this she is probably the best person to drag the country forward. I was feeling very unsure about Boris being the best person to negotiate with the EU leaders and May if nothing else is a more skilled negotiator and politician. At least she's not another old Etonian.

I really hope that Farage just fooks of now, I'm just so sick of that guy. When UKIP was formed didn't they always say that once the objective of leaving Europe was achieved that would disband? As a political party I find them toxic.

At this moment in time UKIP wll definitely not be going anywhere.

Fear of the rise of UKIP is what will ensure that the UK presses on and leaves the EU.

Did you see how many constituencies actually voted leave?

If that was converted into a UKIP general election result Nigel Farage would be PM.

I voted leave and I don't support UKIP so fail to see how you can credit votes to leave to UKIP.

I'm not suggesting that everyone who voted Remain are UKIP supporters.

However UKIP would become the default protest vote if Article 50 isn't triggered.

That's why UKIP in it's current form won't be going anywhere.

First we have the political parties that divide peoples opinion then along comes the referendum and divides the political parties. It's like smashing a bottle then picking it up and lobbing it down again. Only UKIP are not divided and I'm pretty sure they will pick up more floating voters. Then throw in the chance of Scotland going it alone and UKIP will get around 50-60 MP's in the H.O.P

what a motley crew to pick from eh, people who know/knew they couldnt back up their claims about brexit, people who wanted to remain might be in charge of brexit and people who think being gay is a curable disease.

id put money on boris being the pm after the short life of the next one, theyl destroy their career by either not doing brexit or totally fucking it up if they do then bojo will step in.

the next pm is a sacrificial lamb stumbling towards career ending slaughter.

What ktv said.

The guy is playing the long game. It's all about him. Was, is, and always will be.

Hopefully the tories will see sense in the future and maybe another rising star will shine to ensure this clod will never become their leader. Not only tories tho'. Labour also need a decent leader to challenge for the next parliament.
